yay i've never been to anything at islington before - i don't like having to rely on the tube to get back to my train home... so usually restrict myself to astoria and mean fiddler - where most of the groups i like go anyway . its familiar? not another clash for u ?

yay i've never been to anything at islington before - i don't like having to rely on the tube to get back to my train home... so usually restrict myself to astoria and mean fiddler - where most of the groups i like go anyway . its familiar? not another clash for u ? yes the date sounds very familiar but i wont know if it clashes with anything until i am back at home instead of being stuck in some little internet cafe we got lost trying to find islington academy when we went to see kaiser chiefs there. well, we wouldnt have done if the directions we had been giving would have been anywhere near decent, but someone gave us totally wrong directions the security guys are quite nice there, actually some of the best ive seen, we were first in the queue and looked very obsessive, we were only there 2 1/2 hours before but cos the gig started at 11am, that meant we were there at 830am....so looked very obsessed and they kept laughing at us, but they were really cool as well, i choked on a rolo and one of them came out to check i was ok, tho at the same time laughing his head off at me! and they asked us if we had digital cameras cos u arent allowed digital, having just seen me take a photo with nick with my digital camera! but accepted my no and i was one of the few who's bag they didnt search! lol ok, why in the world have i just wrote an essay on security as islington!? lol,, but it is quite a crap venue actually, dont like it inside, quite small dont know if i can afford it actually damn, will have to see how many people are going and whether i can make it worth it

yeah. Its so damned unfair that my sister is going to leeds. I wonder how many years I'll get for killing my sister and stealing her Carling weekend ticket?

they aren't playing here because it's not a proper tour and the nearest to here they'll be is an hour away in Leeds. I must be the only person content with not going to either of the Carling festivals this year

I'd like to see All american rejects, simple plan, marilyn manson and maybe iron maiden - but thats bout it this year... tho i havent seen the full lineup. Oh yeah.,... bad religion are there too arent they?
But yeah theres nothing to drasitcally pull me there this year.

I actually really like a lot of the Reading/Leeds line up now! But im only going to V festival this year, REALLY REALLY looking forward to that

am i the only one here that isn't fussed about AAR? i like swing swing and the last song but haven't really heard much else and the new stuff i did hear on the myspace profile didn't standout that much to me...

Right, looked at this and i really cant afford to go already got at least 5 gigs in october (and kaiser chiefs havent even announced theirs yet, crap) and 2 in september, really cant afford to buy this ticket and travel down there and stuff. Meh, stupid rent and food and stuff, sorry Scott, but cant

ChIEfs lol, sorry apparantly they are announcing their october tour end of this month, just worrying now cos i want to go to loads of them, but firstly i dont know what my timetable will be, and secondly ive got to work round all the other gigs i have...of which im holding a few...such as Nine Black Alps and DMBT at just norwich in case any others clash, if they dont im gonna be at loads of them as well. hmmm dont think my october is going to be very quiet!!!!! lol
