I've just heard from Sam. She says she's having a great time out there - she leaves just after midnight tonight. She was right at the front of the crowd and during the second song one of the people glanced down, saw her and pointed and screamed. And when they played a B-side he said "nobody will know this... well.... you will" and pointed at Sam. They also decided to chat to her afterwards.
It's also nice weather out there - shes been spending a lot of time at the beach and by the pool.
Grr I'm Jealous!!!

good for her..the Kaiser Chiefs are pretty nice guys from when I met them a while ago. Glad Sam's having a great time, and that I don't need to be jealous that its hot there because its nice here for once. It's sweet that they remember her.

ok im back what an absolutely amazing weekend flight was delayed going out, great start, and was BA, thought winning it they would have given us easyjet or something, so free food and drink woooooo. got to ibiza, got to hotel, pretty good actually. then had all friday day to explore, was in san antonio but in a quieter bit so had a lovely beach bit which was quite empty, so spent a lot of the day on that and looking round there, then at 10pm went to Bar M where we had free drinks (courtesy of sony ericsson (who did the competition)), met gary lightbody from snow patrol then went to privelage, got there about 1245am couldnt take cameras in but got fastrack entry cos we had wristbands with brand new amps, though got to the entrance, and they said they had to just check on the colours cos we had purple and they thought it was silver for that gig, a bloke phoned up, came off the phone and said "im really sorry, but they are actually yellow this week......only joking, in you go", scared the life out of me! so got in there, had a drink, then made our way to stand at the front, we were told kaisers would be on at 2am, but we had a support band first, The Modern, and ill leave it at that, lol, thought we were gonna end up with the lead singer totally stripping! then eventually at 4am kaisers came on yayayayaya, was a bloody brilliant gig, cos ive got used to being totally crushed and this was ever so slightly calmer than the uk gigs so could actually breathe. halfway through the second song, ricky looked down, saw me, screamed and pointed (yes for some reason he recognises me, suprised me at V when he did cos i hadnt seen them since end of april and even he knew that), but the screaming and pointing just had me in hysterics for the rest of that song!! and yeh on one of their bsides he said something like, "this is a bside, noone will know this, well you will" and pointed to me and char. really enjoyed the gig, was amazing think i scared the life out of the tour manager at the end cos he came on to start packing away and i yelled his name to get me a setlist, oops, quite worrying when i know the names of the tour manager and the roadies, oops anyway, afterwards, stayed in manumission until about 630am, met simon (bass) very very briefly, literally just hugs, then went into another room where there were pole dancers, and saw nick (drums) and waved at him and he actually came over to us and started talking to us and stuff! then we saw ricky, waved at him but he was with his gf so didnt go over, but the second he saw us, he said something to her and came over to us as well! he couldnt believe we had won a competition and kept asking loads of questions about it and we kept getting hugs and stuff and the rest of the holiday was brilliant as well, Ibiza is soooo not what i thought it was, absolutely love it, really enjoyed it, did loads, still loads we wanted to do tho but didnt get time to and dont like pics of me but really like this one, tho i dont believe it is real, watching the sunset last night before we left and our plane was delayed on the way back as well, and we had to circle brighton for ages cos of the weather, argh! so got back here at 430am and ill shut up now cos this is really long!

sounds good to me, sweet that they remembered you too. I'm going to have to try and get Nick to put me and my friends on the guestlist again for when they play here- was away when tickets came out. You coming to see them in Manchester?
