a translation of what is being posted from time to time. you guys must have known each other for quite awhile because most of the posts/replies sound like inside jokes.
a little scary...even for a long-time lurker. i don't want to inadvertantly step on any tiny little toes by saying the exact wrong thing, but i can't really tell when you guys are kidding or even wishful-thinking.
i think i'll just fade back in the shadows where it's relatively safe.

Ok, well as far as the inside jokes go, there are alot. For the joking around or not part..I am almost ALWAYS joking. No one seems to think it's funny though, but I try anyways. Man, tough crowd.

just easily confused. too much education will do that to you (like grad school.) usually when i don't get something, i just put my own spin on it. can make for some freakin' weird junk, know what i mean?
changing the subject is about my only messageboard trick. i belong to a couple of sports-related boards and it helps me refer back to the post i'm responding to. i like the avatars on this one though, my other buds are kind of stale and don't change theirs much. i just never bothered to figure how to put one up for myownself.
maybe someday i'll even get up the energy to exhale or think for myself...

Yeah William, I've learned it's best to take most everything as a joke here --- it generally is. I remember being new though, and it was pretty confusing, so I know how all the inside jokes get a little perplexing. Stick around and you'll make it, though.  |
