one of my friends is running for Sophmore Class President as a joke. you're required to have 50 sophmores nominate you to even be in the running, so, just for fun, peter and i (i'm his campaign manager) went aroung and got 200 signitures from everyone we could (mostly sophmores, so there are at least 50 relevant signitures). if he makes it into the running and isn't disqualified for having many names that do not apply, his campaign speech is going to be Fox in Socks by D. Seuss. if he wins, i get to write his acceptance speech. which will be fun. oh yeah. all the fun. yeah.

I just got Enter the Matrix for the XBOX. But I haven't played it yet. And I have no fridge, so, if I don't eat all my food, it has to sit out for hours until I get around to eating it.

i'm talking about the rock tour. not the standard show. it's a very very different show from the traditional one.

Blue Man Group's "Tubes" show is phenomenal. Seriously, I don't know how you can't be impressed by that stuff. Maybe the Tennessee version sucks crap, but check it out in New York City sometime. Good times.

Ummmm perhaps JD (you know I was born and raised in NY right?)I was annoyed after a while by STOMP too. Maybe I just need less noise and more music? I dunno........

maybe. i'm a huge fan of percussion. i'm terrible at it, but i love it. it's so facinating to me to watch and hear an entire percussion ensemble, especially with home-made instruments. cuz i can't do that. at all. and i have enormous respect for anyone who can. i dunno. it's all opinion.

Stomp sucks. The Blue Man group doesn't. I think you guys saw their first show from a while back. (I never saw that one myself) They have a relatively new one called "Tubes" and I swear it's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen on stage in my life. (Never saw any bands with brand new amps live though, so who am I to judge) Still, amazing fun. They take random people from the audience and incorporate them into the act. They shoved this tube into a guy's mouth, and, through an amazing zoom or god knows what, we got to see down his throat and into his stomach on the big screen. And no, it was not rigged, the guy was completely random and we did see down his stomach. You've gotta see it to believe it.

this is true. they did the camera thing at the show. that was mega cool. but at the show they had an actual concept senario: the Blue Man Group didn't know how to play an actual rock show. so they had this big screen that played through different things to do live that would make the crowd happy. it was awesome. cuz the music was just...incredible. then the amount of crowd participation was awesome. the stage effects were nice, too. all the lighting and such was just...mind blowing. it's one of the best musical acts around, but it's the best visual show ever. it probably costs a fortune, too.
