Yeah, Im not sure but I think Andrew told me they might be coming back in September, or that their album was being released in September... equally as good!

Theres various rumours about them being on a support slot on a reasonably big tour in september floating around... but I won't comment on them until anything is confirmed one way or the other.. as I don't want people buying tickets for anything that isn't confirmed and being disappointed. Especially as Ian has said a September tour is unlikely.

There have also been rumours of them returning for the DMBT October tour - but once again... this is unconfirmed and I don't want people buying tickets until anything is confirmed. Unless you were planning to of course. Although I do highly recommend the DMBT tour .

i think it's pretty safe to say that FW won't be in Britain again before next year, really.
there's really no point them touring again until the album's out... and the album isn't finished, so...

- and, before anyone points out to me that it's only July, so there's still plenty of the year left, let me say this... not in record label land there isn't. in order to get an album out on even the last possible release date of the year for new albums - pretty much last week of Oct / first week of Nov - there'd have to be a finsihed album by the first couple weeks of August. but even that would be pushing it and would still only be of use putting it out if you were absolutely guaranteed press / radio / t.v etc. which, of course, we ain't.
if something's worth doing, it's worth doing right (for everyone's benefit), so there's no point in rushing this stuff -

so there you go. sorry to be the post-party depression-pooper guy, but it's better that yr aware of the realities rather than wasting energy speculating on something that ain't happening anytime soon.

yea and besides the further away it is the more money i can hopefully save up to get up - cos at moment im broke.....

i wish i could save money tho - im not even earning it. so many gigs i wanna go to and albums i wanna get.

ditto i'll be in my first months of uni and stuff in high wycombe, and dunno how many shows i'll be able to travel to if they don't play at the white horse (lil venue i think)...there's only one tour that's my priority above all others no matter who i have to miss lol but that ain't announced yet, it's still in booking and stuff i think.

Here's the scoop on the new album. They are slated to record it with Matt Mahaffey of Self/Shrek fame. Matt's been on tour playing guitar for Beck for most of the summer, so FW's time with Matt has been pushed back to September-ish, last I heard. Since they aren't even recording until then, I'd say we won't see the new album until early next year.

I haven't heard anything as far a touring plans go.
