Why? WHY do you insist on kicking me while I'm down?
Honestly.. I crawl back to the computer from my freakin death bed to find out that FW not only has a new single coming out, but FINALLY.. A TOUR.. Albeit, not a national tour, but one that spans a region beyond TN, KY, and GA.
I hurry over to see when they'll be in Oklahoma.. Hmm.. 19082 Florida dates.. 190810 Texas dates.. Crap, even Illinois and North Carolina rated a whopping two shows each.. South Carolina got THREE!
But NOWHERE on this list do I find a date for Oklahoma.. What's this on my cheek? A tear? Shed for the absence of Feable Weiner? It would appear so.. This gimp girl can't be making any road trips any time soon, so it looks like it's gonna be another 3 years before I get to see the awesomeness of the Weiner again..
Would it have been so hard to make just ONE of those Texas shows into an Oklahoma show? We have VF-freakin-Ws here.. Throw me a bone, for the love.. I'm going back to bed now.. Maybe this jaunt back to the internet was premature..

Well, it wouldn't suck so much if they just plain weren't coming to the area (ie California, Nevada, New Mexico, etc). But the fact that they're going to Missouri and Arkansas and Texas, basically all the surrounding states, but NOT coming here.. THAT is what makes me extra special sad.. And mad..
But that's all I'm gonna say..

Badger the band and see if they can get one added... tho it does look like a pretty busy schedule. How far away is the closest one?

Bare in mind, Half of Feable Weiner is FROM South Carolina, so that might play a fairly large part in their playing here three times.
By the way, if any of you will be in Myrtle Beach this wednesday, be sure to come out to Monkey Business to see Feable Weiner with Cruiserweight, ANY my new band, the Ivy League. It should fantastic as always.
Then Thursday, we'll do it all over again at New Brookland Tavern in Columbia.
Be there or be a nerd.

steff, we're kinda in the same boat. i worked for years to get FW to come to b'ham. they came once, like, three years ago. and then it's been auburn or huntsville, and, with my parents, that means it's out of reach.
in addition, any band i like, really, goes to TN, GA, FL, and MS, but never alabama. they just do a circle around us. sad, but true (though NIN is coming to birmigham on 06.06.06, suckers!!!!!! and i've got free 3RD ROW TICKETS, BIZNATCHES!!!!!!). so yeah. i feel yah, girl.
