I hate to say this, but i think November Rain is the only GnR song i'm not too keen on..... i love the rest... that i've heard!!

I don't like November Rain, long songs just bore me. I've heard that song so many times i'm sick of it! A song isn't meant to be more than 5 minutes long, it just gets boring and pointless.

Well there are some long songs that are ok but mainly with long songs I switch off after about 5 minutes and stop paying attention

Yeah, with long songs i sort of keep having to remember to listen to them, because they just seem to become part of the background noise.

Nightwish always have a 10minute song on every album - but they all work - as theyre splitsville, VA in 2 or 3 - with a few different styles - so it sounds like a few songs back to back. November Rain is only like 7minutes long. The new Green Day album is just weird though with a couple of the songs actually being 3 songs stuck together as one track.

So they have scott, good observation!lol It would've been good if they could do it, but it's also good they're not for us people who have no money  lol Can't wait until they come back to the UK.  Ooh Scott, does it make it slightly easier now you know they are not going to play, to plan which bands with brand new amps you are watching?!lol I know you were worried they were all going to be on at the same time?! |
