Yes BFS are playing on the monday.... Metro Club is a great venue, I saw Dashboard Confessional there many moon ago!

Oh darn it.... well i'll go to the London show for sure..... Download may still be a possibility, but the Monday show is for sure.... YAY!!
When do tickets for the London show go on sale do you know?

They're not?.... i'm confused now!!! well, obviously this should come from a more 'official' source than myself, but i just don't want folks buying tickets for Download JUST to see FW. (obviously if you're going anyways, it's no bit deal...). the way i sees it, the good folks at Clear Channel thought that FW were able to do it and went ahead and done their ads etc etc etc. to the best of my knowledge, there's no real way FW can do it. coming to the UK costs a shed-load of £££££££/$$$$$$$ (not to mention drains a lot of everyone's mental energy reserves) and there's better things they can be doing with their time than coming to the UK to play one or two shows (namely, getting '2 FN HOT' finished.. which, as i'm sure you'd agree, is the most important thing in the world right now, because none of will truly be able to call ourselves complete as human beings until we hold this work of art in our grubby little mitts). so. if there's a lesson that can ultimately be learned from this? don't believe everything you read in the music press or on the internet. in fact, maybe you shouldn't even believe all the things i've just said until you hear / read it from a member of FW themselves. but, on this one, i do think i know what i'm talking about. liek i said.. just don't want anyone buying tickets or making plans based purely on dodgy information. |

Amanda - one thing ive learnt - and that ive been reminded of this week... don't belive anything til it happens... things may change. Neither me or Meesh have any clue what's going on at the moment - with download, the gig at the metro in london, or the bowling for soup extra show. we'll let you know as it's all confirmed.
Things are a bit hectic for both bands with brand new amps at the moment - which is why things are all confusing.

obviously (well, obvious to me and most folks anyways. but there'll always be someone who'll feel the need to ask the question regardless)... this also means they won't be playing the Metro on the Monday either as flying from the US to the UK for one show would be even more stupid than flying in for two shows.

Ian... JP was supposed to be trying to get them on a supporting tour of France at the end of June - which is why they were going to do download too... I have emailed him... am waiting for his reply to see what the status is on that. |

The capacity is only 175 - so we doubt it... but we're waiting to hear from the management about everything - as all the information we know clashes with itself.
