Ok ... so, its cosmic tuesday... and I've finally got a chance to sit down at the computer... My band (poorbox - shameless plug ) rocked out with Feable Weiner on Sunday on Long Island, and let me tell you - I was beyond amazed with the amount of energy these guys give off during a show ... Totally cool ... awesome set... I also went to New York City with the guys on Monday for another awesome show at Meow Mix ... and $3 Corona knockoffs (any beer under $5 in a New York City club is a steal!) These guys are stealing the stage everywhere they play... so much better than the headliners/bands with brand new amps after them. Keep rockin guys, and I'll see you next time you're in the area!

Piece-of-crap Philadelphia won't let them have a show or something. I hate that rap-infested city, why can't anyone appreciate some music that has more than 2 notes per song?

Damn ... you should find a cool venue in the area and see if they can hit it up next time!
Or come to New York ... you have reliable wheels?

Nope. Being 15, it's hard to coax my parents into driving a couple states so I can see a show, and I don't have any older friends who would be willing to make the trip, either. I guess I'll just have to wait until I get my own license...and my mom lets me go on the highways...and when she lets me drive several states by myself...
See you in 2007.

Hey JD, why don't you get some of your older Danish friends to drive? Or better yet tell your mom that you think your family should be a host family for a Danish foreign exchange student and make sure he's old enough to drive. We'll get you to a show yet....

Sone selective representatives (not me) could go to his house late one night and kidnap him for a show, but return him after it because we don't want to get in serious trouble.

Or he could pick a fight with his parents, run away, hitchhike to the show, then come back and apologize and tell his parents he learned the error of his ways.

Ehhhh, that sounds like an awful lot of work. I'll just wait until they get famous nation-wide so I'll watch them way in the back of a large arena hosting 10,000+ fans, trying to enjoy the music as I get pushed around in a moshpit. It's gonna be awesome! ;D Actually, I think that I'll be able to see them live before they get really popular. I don't know how, but I imagine I'll be able to.

I have an idea...
Get a friend ... tell your parents you are sleeping at his house... he does the same ...
Take a bus into the nearest city where they are playing...
Pull an all nighter, pass out on the bus ride home, and call it a day...
Such a classic/traditional scheme, but it works well...

These are Kodak moments...the moments of your life........ Glad to hear that the North is getting into our sweet Weiners ;D ;D!

I've done enough to tick my mother off in the past years, and I think that little stunt might push her over the edge. I'm gonna play it safe...

Don't be a sissy. Parents can take a lot more crap than you give them credit for! Trust me, on my prom night I skipped the prom and told my mom I was with my preppy friends instead of the punk rock kids I was really with, we ended up getting drunk in some abandoned apartment and the next morning when I woke up still a little drunk I ended up running my mom's car into a telephone poll. When I finally got home my parents were PISSED but still, they didn't kill me. They got over it after a week or so until I pulled my next stunt. If my parents can make it through my teenage years I'm postive your mom can deal with you sneaking off to see a show one time. Making your kids think that you're about to go over the edge is just a trick parents use to guilt you into behaving yourself.
