Ok... I realize some people will make fun of me for this post cause I am going to gush *cough mother tucker cough* but I have to tell you all about the show last night where the boys opened for the All American Rejects. The crowd was yelling even BEFORE they came out, so they already had a good reaction, haha. It was the best crowd I have ever seen FW have, and it made me so happy. The crowd was HUGE and LOVED them! From the opening "We are Feable Weiner" the participation was great! And you would think they would want to get the opening acts off stage to see the Rejects but no, they ate up the weiner... hahah uhhh wow... that was wrong but oh well. The were fighting over the bow ties that the boys threw out, and the girls were going nuts cause of how "cute" the guys are...and at the end they did the chant "Fea-ble Wei-ner!" Outside they had a huge line to talk to them and get their autographs. I was so happy for them.. I can't even tell you. Their success makes me smile, and all proud and stuff, like a mom or something, haha. Honestly I thought they were the best act of the night, by far the most entertaining one, and I am sure they made tons of new fans. Yet they still made time to talk to me a little bit in the mess and they just deserve all the success they get based on how they treat their fans. And they rock out the same at the small shows, putting all their effort into it, as at the big ones like this. Which is awesome! My one question: Did you go GOLD yet ??

Their success makes me smile, For some reason, when I read this, I saw the word "sterile" instead of "smile." Honest. Isn't that weird?!

all that's left is a hit video, rise to the top, drug addictions and VD, and a slow sink back into society until VH1 calls for Behind the music: Feable Weiner

Thanks for the great review, Cassidy! What an awesome show I missed out on...I saw your mention of Kill Hannah in the other thread. Would you mind elaborating more on their show for me? I've heard their music, but am still curious of what the fuss is about them. Thanks.

Thanks for the great review, Cassidy! What an awesome show I missed out on...I saw your mention of Kill Hannah in the other thread. Would you mind elaborating more on their show for me? I've heard their music, but am still curious of what the fuss is about them. Thanks. My pleasure I just had to share with the other weiner fans how awesome it was for those boys. I know they were excited too.. and they deserve EVERY bit of it As for Kill Hannah... wow... yah I really loved these boys. They have excellent stage presence; they can't match fw, mind you, but they were my 2nd fave of the night. Just their style alone screams "rockstar", and it's different, which is awesome. They have the wild rock hair and eyeliner going on, plus excellent guitar skills coming from Jon, the lead guitarist. Mat has a great voice that is just kinda different, ya know... and they just have the audience interaction that makes you love them. They gave me a sticker and a button cause I was hanging around after the show to talk to the Weiners. Plus, I can see why girls go nuts over them cause they are a WHOLE lotta sexy, which I'm sure is a big part of it. Who doesn't like sexy rock boys? I dunno.. I hope they do well too, and I think they already are. I plan to own their cd. Still, I think that the Weiner was a lot of people's faves. I know that a lot of us went for the first two bands with brand new amps and not the Rejects, no offense to those guys.

I agree with Cassidy -- every time I TEXTtriedTEXT to walk away after one of their songs, I immediately came back because I was drawn into it. I spent a good hour listening to the whole cd yesterday in the car from Stillwater to Tulsa and every song is worth listening to. They are super nice and polite and I had to get a hug every chance I got... heh. But honestly, I would really recommend buying their latest cd "For Never & Ever"-- it's good stuff. I am never good at trying to come up with who/what a band sounds/looks like, but they are like a modern goth/glam/rock/synths with a beautiful stage presence. Their website is just killhannah.com -- you can see what I'm talking about.
