he just does it for shock value. . . it's all a marketing scheme, and by god it's working. he's got tons of fans and tons of money. He may look like a freak, and sing somewhat disturbing songs, but he's a friggin' genious.

Is he even still around? Oh wait, he is. He came out with a CD last spring. I don't know how well he did.
And his remake of "Tainted Love" was god-awful. I think I've heard maybe three songs I actually liked, and two were remakes.

Confessional: i went to a concert when i was a sophomore (?). Best concert i've seen actually. There were costume changes, set changes, incredible props that even involved the audience. It was great.
even if you don't like his music (which i now see as juvenile), you have to appreciate his business smarts. He has raked in some major money.
and michelle, let's go to new orleans this mardi gras. You'll love it. trent reznor (while on a similar subject) has a house in the french quarter...i think it may be on decatur.
