that's an interesting definition. don't see how it applies, unless you deny that you go around with an attitude of superiority. do you? Your query is vague...are you asking if I can see how the concept of irony applies to my "more dumb" post? Or, are you asking whether or not I deny going around with an attitude of superiority? Let me preface any further comments by saying that I am both simultaneously amused and annoyed by those individuals that would make comments of a judgmental nature about other people on an Internet bulletin board system. A bulletin board is not reality! How droll! Do you honestly think that it is reasonable and realistic to comport oneself in accordance with social doctrine inside an environment that that bears no resemblance to "real-life?" Am I the only one that finds it ironic (there's that pesky concept again) that, in making comments regarding my apparent "attitude of superiority", you yourself must assume a position of superiority regarding my own attitude? If I do admit to possessing an "attitude of superiority", then I only re-affirm whatever behavioral commentary you seem to be making. Or, if I refute your assertions of arrogance, then you can have a field day pointing at my wicked immodesty and conceit. Last but not least, I fail to accept the judgement, implied or otherwise, from an Anonymous Coward seeking to attain the Mantle of Righteousness. Hey kids, for anyone that hasn't learned something new today, this is textbook behavior as associated with (as defined by traditions stemming from Usenet) Trolls and/or Flamebaiters.

I won't take the pains to whip out any dictionary definitions, but I understand irony to mean turning out dramatically different than what is expected from given circumstances. Whatever difference (between the 2 terms) is insignificant. Basically, I don't know you, much less your sense of humor, but so far it looks to me that you get your kicks from acting like a jerk, often using your higher ed intelligence. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but looks like you practically admit it. (EDIT: Personally, I don't act much different on any board than in real life, except that I don't normally talk quite like this--I scare myself sometimes, haha!) However, I know I still may be quite wrong...Peace and love.
