cool, but bass isnt an easy option jus cos u dont play guitar, cos u can have some really active bass lines - which are the coolest! it may be a bit easier than guitar tho in some ways........

i'm to lazy to play guitar so i'm gonna purchase a bass soon, so i'll be a new bass player to the world moz Lol I read that as "I'm gonna purchase a bassoon!", that well confused me!! I can't play guitar or bass or any other of those stringed instruments for the life of me.........I don't think flute goes down well in rock bands with brand new amps......hmmmm. Acht well, I sing sang in a band with my now ex and his friends, just mucking about with covers and schtuff.

i love the sound that a bass makes, not that synthed sound they use in club and dance songs, the real brassy dropped-d riffs.

dfa79 i liked the first song they brought out, i cant remember what its called now. I think i saw the new one the other day, it looked like the guy from head automatica was singing with them but i dont think it was, just the drummer with a new hair cut.

Aw man the word for that has just gone from my head.......... THIN!!!! Without the bass it sounds thin!!! My (ex)boyfriend (the drummer) would always complain at band practices if the songs were sounding thin, which used to annoy the hell outta me coz it was usually in places where the bass wasn't needed (or in the original song!) Bassist are quite difficult to get hold of actually, we ended up having three guitarists and they played the bass in turns.....so we'd have 2 guitars and a bass.

They only cry coz they know it's coming straight from your heart. I feel 'wrong' reading songs people I know have written coz they're usually full of a lot of meaning and personal stuff underneath.
