ok, thought i would start a new thread on this before it totally threatens to engulf the AAR one EDIT: Changed the dates below, to reflect the current added ones, and it is all sold out ------------------- They started 2005 opening the NME AWARDS TOUR, they stole GLASTONBURY and stormed T IN THE PARK, so how do the KAISER CHIEFS top that? By teaming-up with NME.COM for the 02 Rock N Roll Riot Tour. With The Cribs and Maximo Park also hitching along for the ride, this jaunt promises to be the hottest ticket come the autumn. "I’m looking forward to that it’s going to be brilliant," the Kaiser Chiefs lead singer Ricky Wilson told NME.COM. “We wanted The Cribs because they write fantastic songs and Maximo Park are writing great songs too. We’re all leaders of the pack really, so it’s a really strong bill. People are going to be very upset when they can’t come, so buy your tickets early." NME’s 02 Rock n Roll Riot visits the following modern pop arenas: Manchester Apollo (October 15 and 16) Leeds Town Hall (18 and 19) Birmingham Academy (22 and 23) Brixton Academy (25 and 26) Glasgow Academy (29 and 30) ------------------------------------- 3 bands with brand new amps i absolutely love woooooooooooooooooooooo im going to glasgow and yes....i am serious

ok i think i am now going to this more for maximo park than the chiefs! ok maybe not, i still love the chiefs, but saw maximo park last night, omg omg, that was one of the best nights i have ever had, of course, the aftershow post-party depression made it the best night, without that it would have been a good gig anyway, but that was just amazing, so now i absolutely love maximo park, i did before, but even more so now so this is gonna be absolutely amazing, pretty sure im going to all of them except leeds, unless my timetable turns up a miracle, im not going to be able to go to that

yeh well seeing as the line up also has maximo park and the cribs...its bloody brilliant
though yeh, the chiefs are a bit big for me now, good for them and everything but think i like the smaller bands with brand new amps better
still love them
going to this almost as much for maximo park as the chiefs tho, and love the cribs
woooo now just got to wait for my timetable to see which dates i can actually do
miraculously, no clashes yet, tho one week looks rather bad - Saturday, Glasgow, then possibly sunday glasgow, then monday - nine black alps in norwich and cosmic tuesday, hard-fi in norwich - ahhh!!
