Hey ya'll. I'm Jenna, and I'm from here in M'boro. I love Feable Weiner, and I call in to WMTS for them all the time.Unfortunately, the last FOUR d.j's I've talked to said that they can't find their new c.d. What's going on? I also would like to add that Feable Weiner has replaced U2 as my favorite band....EVER! I went to their show @ the Red Rose, but my friends and I had to leave because of the snow before we could hear the band play. I am scarred for life!!!! When Feable Weiner becomes the biggest band in the world, I'm not going to be able to get tickets for their kick-ass shows anymore, because they'll have sold out huge stadiums in five minutes. Then I will remember that night, and think about how I could have seen them. Very sad....  Oh well, I got two of those wonderful, sweet, talented guys to sign their autographs for me, so my night wasn't a waste! Jenna |

I had to miss the show as well due to the snow... totally sucked!! As far as the WMTS DJ's not being able to find the FW CD... it's true!! People keep stealing it every time it gets put in the station... I have to bring my own copy in every time I wanna hear it. So if you're ever listening between 2 and 4pm on fridays, you can call my show and I'll have some FW ready for ya!!

Hey ya'll, it's nice to "meet" both of you! I read stinkyronnie's post late Friday night, so I couldn't call in, which sucks . However, I will make sure to do so next week! So....what other bands with brand new amps are ya'll into? |

Locally, I'm into Lucky Guns, simonBRAWL, Slack and Kill Devil Hiils(RIP).
on the big picture I'm into a lot of pop punk like Ramones, Screeching Weasel, the Eyeliners and the Queers. I also like the Donnas and Demons, Makers, Devil Dogs, Vikings, Rocket From The Crypt, New Bomb Turks and a lot of other rock n roll bands with brand new amps.. I could go on for days about bands with brand new amps...

I like (besides FW), U2, Garbage, The Ramones, The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Vines, The Donnas, Gavin Friday, T-Rex, David Bowie, and so many more....

oh... the Queers rule!! They're on tour right now with the Teen Idols, which would make one assume that they would stop in Nashville, but nope... the closest they're coming is Atlanta. I guess the Teen Idols are too cool for Nashville now.

Hmmmm...bands with brand new amps.....well locally I like The Judybats but mostly I am into old new wave stuff from the early 80's like ABC, Duran Duran, Blondie, King, The Smiths, The Clash just to name a few. I think I am going to go all 80's out at the next show I go to you know cut up sweat shirt and buttons and stuff.  We just got digital cable and I've been watching "Classic Videos" all weekend. I forgot how truly cool they were.

holy moley, the queers! I haven't heard them in a long time either. Truthfully i hated them, but it's weird to hear their name come up. And michelle I hope to see you decked out in 80's attire at the feb 19th show or possibly the 21st?

The Queers? I feel so ignorant.....not a clue as to who they are. Forgive me, I'm young, and haven't had that sort of exposure to cool bands with brand new amps like ya'll hip people have  . Anyways, I think the 80's idea would be so cute! Go for it! Jenna p.s anyone into Queens of the Stone Age? |

I like some of the Queens of the Stonage stuff. My brother is really into them.
Jenna, if you like the Ramones you'll like the Queers. They're like the Ramones mixed with the Beach Boys in a pop punk sort of way. They're totally rad.
