Oldwebsitefan seemed to see things in a different light after that, and perhaps you will too. Also, if anyone were to start a new thread with the "new topics" discussed in this one, this thread would've just fallen off the page and out of memory, anyway. Might as well make use of it, right? Honestly, if someone started a new thread every time they wanted to go off on a tangent, this board would probably crash within a matter of hours.

Lastly, nobody's riding on your damn coat-tails. That implies that you are famous, and that people are hoping that some of your cool will rub off on them --- and it's pretty clear that no one is even remotely close to doing that.
