yeh...we've bought tickets because it sounded like a really cool idea.....but no idea what actually is going to happen ! Do the bands with brand new amps hang around all night? etc etc

no i have no idea whats going on. you saying this today is the first ive heard of it. the only theory i have is that since it's in their 2nd hall not the main hall, it's the one they use as a nightclub so theyre just turning it into a club afterwards and we can all stay if we want. I'll call rock city tomorrow to see what's going on.

thanks scott, if u find out could u let us know, cos obviously atg the moment we arent getting accommodation but if we need to we need to know - i noticed there isnt a date on the sunday tho so they must be prepared for the whole night on saturday!

Just checked the website. It says it is in the main hall which is kinda confusing... as thats a reasonably big venue. I mean good charlotte are playing there and theyre selling out brixton.

I've emailed their box office manager, and if I don't receive a reply by the time I finish university tomorrow just after lunch, then I will call them.

I'll need accomodation in the area no matter what... but I'll try to let you know.

see i have the problem that cos of my course i get a week less off than ppl like u and charlie, so i have to be back sunday night, therefore if it is all night then i cant get accommodation in nottingham for sun night and just sat would mean checking out as soon as we got back, yeh we saw the thing about good charlotte and couldnt actually believe they would put this there - LOL - maybe its so we can all sleep there!!!! lol

It wasn't in the main hall last time i checked. maybe they decided to upgrade it. Apparently they have themed nights. I found this on the BBC site about it "Saturday - Distortion (Rock Night)". So maybe theyre just turning it into a big event. Tho the capacity of the main hall is 1900 which is huge compared to like 250 at norwich arts centre and portsmouth wedgewood rooms.

but yeah like i said I'll let you know tomorrow.

Sam : I would be driving to norwich on sunday anyway so if I did give u lifts then you'd be back in time dont worry.
