if u are driving to norwich on the sunday then i assume u wouldnt stay all night at the thing? cos otherwise by the time u get back to accommodation it will be time to check out again, lol, thanks tho, that would really help, im really scared im not gona get back to norwich, lol, but dont feel u have to go out of ur way

I'd be driving to norwich on sunday simply because the accomodation is cheaper. lol. No i wouldnt stay all night at the all nighter because I would need a few hours sleep. I may stay for a while depending on what the setup is there... then go back and sleep, but I wouldnt stay until 6... or by the time I got back to the hotel I'd have like 2 hours sleep then have to check out.

Here is the response from the box office manager at Nottingham Rock City re the all nighter at the DMBT / FW show.

Hi,

Rock City All-nighters are where the venue has an extended licence. We are open from 8.30pm - 6.00am the following morning. We host a variety of DJ sets and live bands with brand new amps of which Do Me Bad Things are taking part.

As far as stage times etc. are concerned they will be decided nearer the time of the event, bands with brand new amps usually start around 9pm with the last band appearing about 1am.

I will be contacting her again nearer the date so that those of you travelling to and from the gig that night can organise transport etc.

It sounds like these events are quite popular - and in a 1900 person venue it will help FW a lot.

thanks for getting that info scott, sounds it could be pretty good, and ur right, if it is popular it will promote FW a lot - lol mine and charlies tickets are only numbers 32-33 tho!! tho i guess a lot of ppl would probably pay on the door.

another update from another person at rock city. similar sort of info, but a few different points.

The gig on the 9th April is part of an All nighter, which basically means were open til 6am and the bands with brand new amps are part of the club night, so customers pay £6 to get into the club, and can watch the bands with brand new amps if they want to. At the moment Do Me bad things, Feeble Weiner, Tokyo Dragon ands the yoyos are confirmed. There are two rooms which the bands with brand new amps will be playing in, but times and where they will be playing will be confirmed later.

yeh ok, sorry but it was about the tour pretty much, and some of the messages about accommodation were to anyone who knows of cheap stuff, not just to scott
