so as I said in my other thing, me and my friends want to travel to Portsmouth from Devon. We need to know where in Portsmouth we're going and if it's easy to find and stuff. How much is it? Are there any ages restrictions? And does anyone want to let us stay in their house? Or know of somewhere decent and really cheap? We don't want to sleep on the streets.,... don't be mean! xx

if you go on the venues website itll give u the address which u can then type in multimap.com which will give you directions from wherever and also the nearest hotels to the venue...ask the weiners where they're staying for the night?

Are you going by train or coach? If by train then get a ticket to FRATTON station. Come out of the station by walking over the bridge over the tracks not out the main entrance. Turn right as soon as you get to the road then turn left at the roundabout...i forget the name of the road but you cant miss it. Eventually you should see albert road on your left - take this... it's a few minutes walk along on your left. Or if you dont want to walk get the train to PORTSMOUTH AND SOUTHSEA station - then ask the taxi drivers out front to take you to the venue. It will probably be about £4 or 5 taxi though. I've never seen a taxi outside Fratton station but you could always call for one I suppose - it would be cheaper from there than from the other station. Call 023 9265 4321 (a company called aquacars - theyre pretty cheap if you call to book a taxi). The venue website is www.wedgewood-rooms.co.uk if you need any more details or directions. As far as I know there aren't any age restrictions at the wedge - ive seen loads of kids there. Though check the venue site and www.aloud.com to double check. If you're coming by coach then I have no idea where the coaches stop - ask rachel. With regard to hotels the best bet is to search online for bed and breakfast hotels in portsmouth or southsea. Places like travel inn and ibis have hotels in the city - but they are in the region of £40+ for a room. If I was still at university down there I'd let all of you stay the night - but I am not at that university anymore and am staying with friends after the show. It's actually rather useful - they live about 45 seconds walk from the venue lol.

Hey, I'm Rachel.
I'm going to the Pompie show. The coach station is something like the Portsmouth Hard Interchange or something!!
It would be easier to get the train, but coach WILL be cheaper!!

yeh thats what im thinking, coach is a LOT cheaper but train is so much easier, still takes me 4 1/2 hours to get there tho!
but that isnt the problme
the problem is the accommodation, i cant find anywhere for less than £48 a night, and i cant afford £48 on my own!
