hullo. i just bought a cd by the band Presidents of the United States of America. anyone remember them? they had few big songs and then just disappeared. my brother used to listen to them when he was my age or a little bit older. they did the songs 'kitty', 'peaches' and 'lump'...those were the big ones....

Personal Opinion:
I think the only good thing that came out of the PUSA was the Weird Al "Gump" song.

glad to hear a friendly voice supporting such a great, wonderful band. does anyone know what happened to them? the just disappeared off the face of the earth, and i'm curious as to what happened.

They just decided to call it quits. The dude with the bald head started a family and began concentrating on making music by himself out of his home.

I have this excellent Presidents bootleg that I got off the internet. I love it more than the other CD's.

yes rissy, the "hair band love song" cd you made was bad. BUT, I prefer that over the Pres anytime. Sorry guys, lumpy kitty? Not my can of peaches...

Now they were a good group....Even though I barely remember them, but I think "Peaches" was a fairly decent song, maybe FW should do that cover...HA! giggles to herself
