not really i just dont want to be preppy any more, my mom wont like that though!!! my mom gets so mad about my thrift store clothing. she's says, "we can afford to buy new clothes." she doesn't appreciate the art of finding an awesome shirt for a quarter!

I cleaned out my closet today. I have about 30 shirts and about 15 pairs of pants I'm giving to my neice, just because I never wear them. I probably buy something new every other weekend. I go shopping when I get bored, and I am bored a lot.

Remember everyone: It's perfectly accceptable to shop at thrift stores. There's nothing wrong with a bargain. It is not necessarily acceptable to shop at a thrift store and walk around looking like an unstylish ratty bum. One can be fashionable and wear cheap clothes at the same time... you just have to know how to put the clothes together. STAY AWAY FROM ALL PANTS WITH PLEATS

A truer word has never been spoken. Also I know that crop pants are very in (for about 4 years now) but they shorten the leg and make it look fatter. I really hate them. It's all about length and slimming. Make the leg look longer, create a line for the eye to follow. An interesting belt can do wonders for an outfit. And a slight heel. Thrift stores are like going on a treasure hunt!
I am a fashion diva ask anyone......

Back to the Abercrombie thing...I used to love to shop there, I liked the clothes a lot, and the jeans made my ass look NICE...but I don't like it there anymore since I had a baby and don't wear tiny clothes anymore. Now that place makes me sad.

Amen to that Larissa!! As for Abercrombie, I don't like spending $20 on a shirt, let alone $60, I have bought many shirts at thrift shops, I have even cut off the design and sewn it on another shirt when I liked the design but the shirt didn't fit....

I think if Hot Topic ever starts selling Feable Weiner stuff, I will jump off a cliff into a sea of glass. That would be HORRIBLE.

Screw Abercrombie - its all about the Gap. They have the best jeans - I'm quite tall and they're always long enough. I actually have some Hilfiger jeans because they make my ass look nice, which is a rarity. Most of my clothes are band shirts [probably have 25 or so, maybe more] and thrift t-shirts or sweaters/button ups with stripes. My clothes collection is semi-boring, but I have cool shoes/stupid jewerly so its all good. Yeah, and Hot Topic sucks. Band shirts are not $18 unless its at at arena show or the band sucks - go to www.interpunk.com if the band is punk/emo/hardcore/indie and not completely undergound.
