Man, the Gap rocks! That's where I get all my jeans from too, they're long enough AND they don't shrink AND their sizes seem to fit bigger, so I get to buy a smaller size! Express is another place that has jeans that make an ass look good.

I think if Hot Topic ever starts selling Feable Weiner stuff, I will jump off a cliff into a sea of glass. That would be HORRIBLE. So will I. I might lead a torch-and-pitchfork mob through every Hot Topic in the US before, though.

probably b/c you have the word "abercrombie" plastered all over you! My friend went in there in shorts that said abercrombie on the back, and the said, "I'm sorry miss, but we don't allow people in here with clothing from abercrombie..." And it REALLY happened. It was really weird..

I like Hot Topics. I usually get complimented on something by the clerk everytime I go in there.

Can someone explain to me how Abercrombie is any different than Hot Topic? I mean.. Really.. Both have stereotypes.. And targeted clientele.. Abercrombie = Preppy Kids Hot Topic = Scene Kids Wow.. There's more that I would say.. But what's the point? Who cares where your clothes/shoes came from? The Gap.. Old Navy.. Hot Topic.. JCPenney.. Walmart.. Journeys.. Payless.. Bottom line: Clothes are clothes, regardless where you buy them..

Yeah. I mean, yes I shop at 'name brand' stores but all my clothes dont say GAP or AMERICAN EAGLE all over them. Gap jeans are in my closet because they fit my long ass legs very well, etc. Everyone has stores they hate. I personally dislike AF and Hollister because their clothes are very expensive and don't fit me well because I'm tall but not model thin. One of the guys on newspaper staff with me last year wore Abercrombie every day but he was also very into the St. Louis punk scene and got an internship at Alternative Press [lucky].
So, clothes dont make the person.

Ok it's true. What I was trying to say was that these stores in the malls have taken anything that was cool, that you had to either search for or make yourself and made it into watered down crap.
I'm old school and we used to paint our own jean jackets and stuff. It's taking all of the ingenuity out of street wear.
Ok I am off of my soap box ...for now.....
